About Bluff Point Beach

Bluff Point Beach is one of the many different beaches in Connecticut – its specific location is in New London County, and supposedly the nearest major town to this little stretch of sand and water would be Borough, Connecticut. Bluff Point Beach has what some may describe as a “coast-type shore or strand”, meaning that the stretch of sand lining itself up with the shore is sloped, and is a little gravelly in consistency. Bluff Point Beach connects itself to a rather rugged area called Bushy Point; you will also notice that from the main trail, you would find tracks and if you go inland, you're bound to encounter the remains of an early eighteenth century home called the Winthrop House.

Bluff Point Beach is considered by some as a good place to hang out in in the event of free time (or at least, some cleared up schedule), although we do have to warn you that there is very little in the way of amenities and services that they have in Bluff Point beach so far. Not that nothing is being done to improve it – every year, something new that is directed towards the convenience of the visitor seems to be added. Still, you may have to “rough it” when you come to Bluff Point Beach. Not that THAT isn't fun in itself...
